• Full rebuild and refurbishment of our house

  Full refurb, extension, loft extension, groundwork, electrical and plumbing renewal. Our house was totally gutted and Luis and his team were sensational building and upgrading our house throughout. They did everything from gutting, piling, building extensions and going into the loft. New plumbing and electrics through. Underfloor heating and rescreeding. All decorating was done by Luis and his team. Luis also added a full alfresco BBQ and seating area to our garden - he and his team essentially turned a house built in 1991 into our perfect house!! We would use him again anytime!

• Replacement garage door and 2 new oversize external doors

  A few tradesmen had not wanted the job because the removal of existing doors was heavy complicated work, and the new doors were oversized. Luis took charge of the job and arranged all the relevant specialists. The job was completed on time and in budget with minimum disruption to my family. We are very happy with the result.

  Our project included all civil/structural works and services plus decorating and fitting a new kitchen and bathroom. Luis and his team were very professional and hard-working. He managed the project conscientiously with the sequence of work completed harmoniously according to his schedule and price which compared very reasonably with other builders. Any problems with price rises/supplies were often anticipated and resolved in advance. Luis himself is a breath of fresh air and a pleasure to work with; his smiley face always lifted our spirits during the disruption! We’d highly recommend LGBD.

• Kitchen Refurb

  We have been a client of LG Building and Design after friends recommended their services for work we wanted done on our home. The project involved stripping out our existing kitchen, lifting a tiled floor then levelling and laying a new floor, making some structural alterations and installing a new kitchen before some final carpentry and decorating. We are, and remain, delighted with the results, not only with the end result but the decisions and advice given along the way to get to the final result that we are so satisfied with.

  Luis, Karleen and their team of LG builders were fantastic partners throughout our renovation. Every element of the project was managed with care and communication was excellent throughout the process. The management of the budget by line item on the spreadsheet was transparent and their weekly updates meant we always knew where we were at. Even when small changes to cost happened they were on the front foot with recommendations of alternatives and way to keep project cost to budget. Design and finish was flawless and standing the test of time brilliantly. Highly recommend LG’

• Extensive renovation

  Luis and his whole team are a pleasure to work with. They are professional and their work is of a very high standard. They are punctual, neat and very accommodating. They have successful completed a number of extensive renovations of our home over the past 10 years and we would use them again without question should we require further work. Their work included - new roof, outside rendering, installation of a conservatory, internal remodelling, bathrooms, plumbing, rewiring, BBQ installation and paving.
