    John seemed like a nice and friendly person. He was not able to find out where the leak was coming from, but did suggest coating the lead flashing as it was cracked. He did agree to replace three slates on the bathroom roof and put some cement on the ridge tiles as well. All this for £500! However, after he left I noticed that a slate was still missing and so contacted him to arrange a return (no immediate rush) on the 23/01/2024. No further contract from him after this date. The next roofer I employed to put a new bathroom roof said that the previous work was not very good.

  • Leaking ridge tiles on roof

    Noticed water leaking through the roof in the loft space so phoned on Monday and John came out Monday morning and inspected the roof ridge tiles and noted some movement in the ridge tiles. Extremely impressed John attended the same morning as phoned, was very polite, explained what he would do to remedy the leak and came and fixed 2 days later. Work done was very good, left the property clean and tidy. Showed me photos of the work done before leaving. Would highly recommend John if you need any roofing works doing.
