  I selected Martin and Co having had discussions with a number of building firms to build a new orangery at the back of my property. The job involved removal of an old conservatory, extending the footings and the erection of a new wooden and glass structure. Incorporating first and second fix trades. I also needed full project management. The build was delivered on time and all trades involved were friendly and knowledgeable. Absolutely delighted with the result, which was on time and on budget. Highly recommend.

  Used this company to build a veranda at the rear of my mother's house. Great experience all round - work carried out as committed and to budget. High quality of workmanship. Clean and tidy crew. Very polite and thoughtful. Would certainly use again.

• New felt flat roof

  I would give more than 10 if I could. The guys arrived when they said they would and carried out the work to a high standard and in a timely manner keeping us advised daily. Some of the materials quoted for weren’t required so the final invoice was reduced accordingly. I would recommend this firm again and should I need work doing myself they will be my first port of call.

• Creating an open plan kitchen-diner and conservatory

  I am so pleased with the work carried out, it is better than I dreamed of!! The team fitted in around myself, the walls and old kitchen removed (the dirty work) while I was on holiday. The previous builder hadn’t fitted a lintel when removing the chimney breast, this was corrected and is now a lovely feature. The decorators did a wonderful job throughout the downstairs of my home. I was given advice the whole way through the process, which made it easier. I will definitely use them again

• Designed and built a glazed timber veranda

  From helping us to design the veranda, right through to a beautiful finish on completion, the team were fantastic. The workmanship is perfect and the in-house decorators they supplied have made a marvellous job of painting it. All in all it was a pleasant and fun experience using these guys and I would definitely recommend this company.
