• Shelves in the living room around the TV and for a library

  I had Mr Monjurul’s services for shelves and a radiator cover. It took longer to build than expected, and the work is poor and I have paid for what I was left with, a lot of money. The shelves material is chipped, I have big holes left uncovered, he has put white stickers to cover the holes make by the screws to attach the shelving. The radiator is cracked and it isn’t straight, when told about this he filled the gaps of the radiator with filler. It’s an overall really poor job that I will have to have a carpenter come around and do a up to standard job. I can not in good conscience recommend.

• Fitted base cabinets,work top and flooring

  Monjurul was a professional, polite and courteous man. He fitted 2 kitchen base units with doors, a whole new kitchen worktop and new flooring. He took time to show me his book with a number of colours to choose from. Did the job to a high standard, left the kitchen clean and tidy. His quote was very reasonable compared to others. Kitchen looks amazing will definitely use Monjurul again

• Fitted bedroom wardrobes and bedside tables

  Monjurul built a fantastic set of fitted wardrobes and matching double bed and bedside tables in my master bedroom. I am very pleased with his work, as it was very timely and high quality. His prices were quite reasonable.

• Overall Content - Timekeeping wasn't great

  I think my overall review of Monjurul will be a good one. However, certain mistakes were made in his calculations and selection of wood that led to delays in the completion of the work. The delay wasn't a huge inconvenience as he had built the frame of the wardrobe and it was functional. However, I found it annoying when he kept pushing back the date he'd come to complete the work. Will I use him again? It's hard to say now as I'm still annoyed with his timekeeping. However, on balance, his strongest asset in the market is his competitive price and courtesy.

  We were very happy with the quality of the jobs completed. Very impressed with our under-stairs cupboards and kitchen doors. He is very polite and cares. The jobs were very good value for money and he was always on time and extremely tidy. I would highly recommend him.
