• Door Frame and Architrave Replacement

  5 doors needed architrave replacement, I requested all 5 to have the frames replaces but when the carpenter removed the architraves he found that 3 of them were of good quality and in good condition and so advised me to keep those in place, which I did, really appreciated the honesty/advice as he could have easily thrown them away and gotten more money for the labour, I would've been none the wiser. All of the frames and architraves look great, I was worried about damage to the newly plastered areas but the work was so neat and well done that the surrounding plaster still looks great.

  Overall, excellent experience with Mountain View Builders. Kevin was easy to liaise with and approachable. The price seemed reasonable and work occurred within my desired time. Michael, the Carpenter, was excellent, friendly and professional. He catered the skirting to our awkward walls without complaint. They tidied up after themselves as best as possible. Would recommend.

• Painting and decorating

  Kevin and his team completed a tricky painting and decorating job where the walls were in bad condition. They also installed an mdf wall panelling kit on one of the walls. Kevin was always at the end of the phone and kept in constant communication which was great. His team worked hard and were easy to get along with. There were some issues with the work, but Kevin and his team didn’t hesitate to rectify them and didn’t cease until we were absolutely satisfied. Overall we’re happy with the work carried out, especially our nice new feature wall!

  Kevin bought samples of flooring to the house as I wasn’t sure what I wanted and helped me to pick what would suit my new kitchen cabinets. I explained where I wanted the flooring to start and what direction I wanted it to face and the team accommodated my needs as much as possible.
