  Karl did a very neat job. There were two parts: first (at short notice, before our sitting room ceiling was re-plastered) to run a cable - invisibly, behind the plasterboard - from a redundant wall switch to the centre of the ceiling. This required some tricky 'fishing', I think. Then a few days later, after the plasterer had finished, Karl came back and connected up the new light, and fixed a couple of other lights that the plasterer had moved. He also reconnected the switch in the consumer unit. We were very pleased with Karl's work!

  Overall I'm disappointed with the work. The initial quote was an attractive price on a day rate. However he spent less than 6 hours on site and the job was not completed. He disconnected our dishwasher which he was prepared to leave us without for a week had we not called and got him back to connect it again. He also used our new dyson hoover to clear up brick dust and wire clippings and we still found these and broken glass all around the house after he'd left. He then proceeded to try and over charge us for the job quoting more hours than he had done. The job wasnt even completed. Avoid them
