    Neil has just completed a full ground floor refit of laminate flooring, along with damp-proofing and screeding, and numerous other small jobs (getting cupboard doors to close, refitting carpet etc). He is a perfectionist, always full of practical and helpful solutions to problems. The finished job is superb. I would recommend Neil and NB flooring to anyone.

    My kitchen floor was an absolute nightmare. I had a bad DIY self- levelling job done on it which needed rectifying. The floor was sloping to a difference of around 6/7 inches in one corner, so I needed it all levelling out and new coverings laying on top. Neil was amazing from the start. Even before I had given him the work he took the time to explain the process to me and gave me several options to meet my budget and needs. He was always incredibly responsive (a rarity nowadays) and punctual and left everything clean and tidy. The new floor is level and looks fantastic. Really pleased.

  • Sensory Shed

    Our school wanted a sensory shed for children, who require brain breaks and time away from the classroom to meet their specific sensory needs. Neil insulated the shed with Celotex, and ply-lined the walls and ceiling to ensure warmth for the children. Following this, he fitted underlay and a Saxony carpet to the floor for comfort and texture. Our shed is now developing with electrics and sensory equipment for the needs of our children. Neil did this on a complimentary basis to support the school budget. Neil advised throughout, and all work was completed to a high and professional standard.

Hi, I'm Neil and I'm the proud owner of NB Flooring.


I supply and fit carpets, vinyl, laminate, wood, ceramic and porcelain tiles. I provide full bathroom and kitchen renovations. I also undertake house maintenance, landscaping, decking and artificial grass


With many happy returning customers over the last 25 years, you can be sure of being well looked after. I will be your first point of contact and will carry out all work myself.


NB Flooring has sub-contracted for many different flooring retailers over the year, all benefiting from and recognizing the dedication I bring to the job. The high standard and insistence on a quality finish provides an excellent customer service experience. I have always seen this as essential to the job I do and service I aim to provide to clients. I have achieved this whilst working for a variety of businesses (including Hopewells and John Lewis). My ethos is that no job is ever too big or small.
