  • Part wall demolish for patio door and build steps

    Oakdene came to part demolish a wall so a patio door could be fitted in the place of an existing window, and to build some brick steps on a level change to the garden from the new door. The guys were great, friendly and did an excellent job exactly to the spec I described to them - in fact it looks better than my wife and I envisaged. They worked along side our glazer (who they work with regularly) and the door and steps were completed in a day and all rubbish cleared. I would highly recommend Oakdene and use them again myself. Thanks a lot.

    Can't praise Mikey and Mike highly enough. They were friendly, professional and did a high quality job. They were the only builder to discuss different options for our unstable wall. Communication with us was great, and they even helped negotiate access with the neighbours. We've even had other neighbours asking for their number for their garden. Recommend.

    Both mikey and his dad mick did a phenomenal job I couldn’t be happier with the new patio, just in time for bbq season They where always incredibly punctual, answered all my questions no matter how big or small they where, the work was done in a very timely manner whilst not skipping on the quality of the job I really couldn’t recommend more, they are the best builders I’ve come across, cannot think of a single complaint HIGHLY recommend !

    Mickey and Mikey from Oakdene had to overcome some atrocious conditions weatherwise but managed to overcome the wet and the cold to complete the job. They replaced the old tired cracked and degrading concrete with fresh interspersed with red brick which has had a good effect and broken up the continuous concrete look beautifully. My wife had difficulties getting in and out of the doors aligning the path, and they installed new steps and replaced the old ones making it easier for her. Very pleased with the result. They also replaced 3 old broken inspection covers on our drainage system.

    Oakdene regrouted the slabs for us. They did a good job even though they had to contend with disruption due to the terrible rain. I will definitely consider them for any future projects.
