  Percy and Jack were first class to deal with throughout the process. They explained clearly what was possible with the bathroom and kitchen fit and exceeded expectations. They turned up every day on time, kept disruption to a minimum and gave us exactly the finish we hoped for. I'd happily use them again and recommend others do too.

  Mr Harvey and his charming assistant scored 10 (Excellent) in all categories. They fitted my stair handrail with meticulous attention, neatness and skill at all stages. Courteous, professional and friendly: nobody could ask for more! If I have further jobs, P Harvey Construction will be my first port of call.

  We couldn’t be more pleased with the work carried out by Percy & Jack. They are hard working, tidy, punctual, diligent, honest and a joy to have around. All challenges were overcome without any fuss and they had the experience and foresight to identify any shortcomings in the architectural and structural plans. We would very happily recommend Percy & Jack to our friends and family and we couldn’t envisage wanting to use anybody else. After six months on site it was almost a shame to see them go! You’ll struggle to find a better builder.

• Building an extension

  P Harvey Construction Ltd have just finished our single storey link extension. To say we're pleased with their work is an understatement. We're delighted. I've been around the building trade for years and seen the good, bad and the ugly. Percy and Jack are the exceptionally good guys. They're skilled, helpful, competent, knowledgeable, experienced, honest professional builders. Fair price, quality work, great to deal with, leaving the site and new build in great order. I've no hesitation in recommending them and their work. If you're lucky enough to get these guys you won't be disappointed.

• New garden room, fire pit and seating area, plus erection of wooden poles for sail shade

  Percy and Jack have completed several projects in the garden, to mostly bespoke designs, and I couldn't be happier with the results. My garden opens each year for the National Garden Scheme and it has completely transformed the space for outdoor living. The garden has become an extension of the house, with a series of outdoor rooms to meander through and enjoy. Their work is to an exceptionally high standard and I wouldn't have any hesitation whatsoever recommending them to friends and family.
