  PJL Carpentry and Building converted our garage into a bedroom and en-suite suitable for my Mum. From the start of the project to completion Phil and his team ensured that we were kept updated of the progress at each stage. Work was carried out to an exceptionally high standard as they take an enormous amount of pride in their work as well as providing an excellent service. PJL are professional, polite and responsible in their approach. Nothing is ever too difficult for them. I would like to personally thank Phil, Leo, Taylor and the team for converting our garage into an amazing living space.

• Garage conversion

  PJL Carpentry rebuilt from the ground up our existing garage into two rooms: a large office and a shed. The resulting building is close to 30sqm in size. The work was carried out to a high standard with exceptional carpentry skills and using quality materials. Phil and his team were operating independently, requesting input were needed and providing good suggestions during the build (for example on installing an A/C unit). Their approach aimed at choosing solutions which made the most sense and at a reasonable cost. The garden office looks great. We will definitely hire again.

• Replacing a front door.

  PJL suggested a style of front door to replace the old one which we then chose. The door and frame were then fitted very efficiently on day one and the last finishing touches were completed the next morning. The team were very friendly and everything was tidied up inside and out. We are very pleased with our smart new front door!

• Conversion of garage to bespoke office (construction and fit-out)

  Phil and his two sons did an amazing job of converting an old single garage that was used for storage in to an amazing office space (could also be an entertainment area) with a small storage unit on the front. It's transformed that space from essentially something barely functional to something really useful for us as a family. Phil is great with ideas but ones that are not ridiculously expensive but add real value. The quality of workmanship with the structure was really excellent as was the finishing. They are also easy to have at one's home and we highly recommend this team. Brilliant
