    Cannot thank Chris and the staff at Plans To Extend enough. My partner and I were looking to have a single story extension added to our property and we knew nothing about the planning process. However Chris was brilliant. Answered all our 10 million questions gave us advice and basically helped us through everything. Our build starts next month and we cant wait. So thanks so much guys. Would recommend them to anyone

They take the time to get to know you and your project and adding their experience to your thoughts and ideas is so helpful. The resources available are superb, we were kept informed at every step of the way during our project and the team are very easy to contact via phone or email. The work carried out was also of excellent quality, perfectly in line with the brief. If I had another project, I would definitely work with Plans2extend again.

    We came across plans2extend because the house we purchased in 2020 had the existing plans drawn up by them. I rang Chris initially to discuss the existing plans already on the house and to talk about some changes. He was very helpful and took the time to discuss the plans in detail with me and also go through all my questions. He later came back out to revise the existing plans with both me and my husband. Both Jenna and Chris have been great, they have made sure the whole process so far has been fully explained and relatively painless! I would highly recommend them to anyone.

The process begins with a free home consultation, where you can explain all of your requirements for your dream home.


Chris, the founder of Plans 2 Extend will advise you on the approximate build costs to ease the decision making process and will outline any planning and/or Building Regulations requirements during the initial visit.


If you are happy with the quotation, a full property survey will be carried out, and initial drawings prepared for a review of the project. Unlimited amendments can be made to the drawings during this review.


Once the drawings have been signed off by our clients, the planning or permitted development applications will be submitted, and planning approval obtained.


When planning approval is obtained, or permitted development confirmed, we will complete the necessary structural engineers reports & create a Building Regulations standard ‘working drawing’ which your chosen Builders will use to create your dream space.


All of this is trackable via our dedicated customer portal – you will have your own account to track the process, and if you prefer speaking to humans, our happy office will be ready to assist you


During the build, we liaise with your nominated builder and take away the stress of what can be a difficult period. Or for a completely ‘hands off’ experience, Plans 2 Extend Build Phase can be your perfect builder!
