8.5Verified ReviewOur house pointing was damaged by storms. The Proline Pointing team cut out the damage, carefully colour-matched the sand used so that the new mortar looked the same as the existing and they replaced damaged bricks. It really makes a difference and we are thrilled with the result. For the pointers themselves the work is messy and they are at the mercy of most weather conditions. Despite all this Martin and his team are always cheerful, friendly and efficient and proceed as fast as conditions allow. I would recommend them and would use them again for bricklaying. work.

10Martin and Chris advised me on the problem that I had and came back promptly to clean my roof, replace some tiles, repoint some brickwork and coat the walls with storm weather protection. Everything was kept clean and tidy and looks much better.

Having problem with damp
Why should I have my walls re pointed ? ... helps prevent heat loss through the walls. After rain, water can freeze in the bricks and surrounding mortar, expanding and causing damage. This freeze-thaw weathering does not look good and ignoring damaged or substandard mortar could lead to a damp and cold house.
