  My stairs had boarding instead of spindles. Richard removed the boarding and installed spindles. He worked in a very tidy and efficient manner and completed the job to time and within budget. His work is to a very high standard and I am very pleased with the work he did.

  Richard was always punctual and communicated very well. If he was delayed he let us know. The first thing he did in our property was lay down dust sheets from the back doors to the work area. He was able to carry out all the dirty sawing and cutting operations outside the property , thus minimising any internal mess. He worked throughout the day and only had a short break for lunch. The work was all completed in the predicted time period to a high standard and we were very pleased with the end result. We are getting him to come back in the new year to help with another project we are planning

  I had a previous pergola installed by a team of landscapers which I was never really happy with. Richard came to evaluate the existing structure and pointed out all the issues. This confirmed my feeling that it had to be removed. From there Richard and the team promptly removed the existing structure and we discussed some options for its replacement. I chose a suitable model and the team came back to install it. No mess, no fuss, no issues. Richard is committed to quality and spent plenty of time levelling the structure before securing it. I've no hesitation in recommending him and the team.

  Arranging a viewing and getting a quote was simple and painless. Getting a start date was delayed due to Richard being busy, but that wasn't a problem and the fact he was busy shows how in demand he is. The quality of the workmanship is outstanding. I will definitely use Q C installations for any future joinery type tasks.

• Airing cupboard re-configuring

  Our airing cupboard needed re-configuring as the shelving was very poorly laid out. We always look for someone we can discuss things with and help us arrive at the best outcome rather than accept one of the many who are interested in doing a quick job the way they want to do it. Having found such a carpenter/joiner we wil be progressing other projects with him.
