    Richard stripped the existing wallpaper and replaced it with a lining paper so it could be painted. He also removed the old laminate flooring and replaced with new and changed the skirting boards. He then painted all that required painting. At the end of each day he tidied up. Would definitely recommend and use again.

    Richard was responsible to make good our new kitchen by painting the walls and the door. Richard's approach was a 'can do' approach, he communicated every stage of the process and told us if there were challenges particularly as our walls were not smooth. When I called Richard to come back to address some minor points he was willing to listen and address the points.

Hi I'm Richard Cottrell,


I've been painting and decorating for over twenty years and have covered all aspects of my field. I have previously worked in the insurance sector where I was responsible for the decorating team for the company I worked for.


I set up R C Decorating Services in 2007 as a sole trader, however through my back ground I have a vast amount of other trades to call upon should the task require.


I predominantly work in the following areas Waltham Abbey, Waltham Cross, Cheshunt, Broxbourne, Hoddesdon, Ware, Hertford, Hatfield, WGC, St Albans, Harlow & Stevenage, not to say I don't travel to other areas.

My Skill sets are:

* Small wood repairs
