  Ricky was always smiling even through the rain and nothing was too much trouble to try and please his customer. Although still a young man he can call on very professional people in his workforce to do an excellent job. Along with his right hand man Gary I would have no hesitation in recommending them to anyone and look forward to employing them again at our property.

• Remove a chunk of mortar and replace 3-4 courses of bricks at top of a chimney breast.

  We were a week into having our bathroom redone. Everything stripped back to brick. In stripping the chimney breast we discovered the top few courses was just thick chunky mortar. We urgently needed a brickie to come in, remove the mortar, source and lay 3-4 courses of traditional bricks. At very little notice, Ricky fitted us in and did a fantastic job. They were quick, courteous, tidy and fab. There was also very little disruption to the overall bathroom works.

  Ricky is a reliable and hardworking professional. He is adaptable, enthusiastic and constantly cheerful. We were looking for someone to lay footings and build a cavity blockwork shell up to wall plate level ready for me to finish the roof myself. He offered suggestions where needed and was happy to be flexible, allowing me to project-manage, work as his labourer and to source materials to keep costs down. During the build he was a pleasure to have on site, adapting well to unforeseen problems and weather conditions, and always working to a high standard. I wouldn't hesitate to recommend Ricky.

• Boundary wall

  Rickie had previously done the brickwork of our extension (in new Cotswold Stone blocks) and had done such a good job ,we asked him to build a boundary wall in blocks we had rescued from another local property. Rickie took the time to ensure that the new brickwork matched the existing house in a way that you would not know that it had only just been built. His attention to detail was second to none. We are more than pleased with the results and would certainly recommend Rickie to others. He had two local neighbours ask him for his details as they were impressed with the quality of his work

• Kitchen Extension

  I cannot recommend Ricky enough for any building works you have planned, he is by far the best tradesperson I have worked with throughout my job. All works are completed to a high standard, in agreed timescales. Ricky is always putting the customer first, and has a real ‘can do’ attitude to all jobs. The best thing is he does it all with a smile on his face. I have been so pleased with the initial build that I have had Ricky and his crew back for further finishing works. He has demonstrated to me that he is a highly skilled tradesperson, with a wealth of experience – he is not just a bricky!
