Taking pride in customer service and professional workmanship.

We are fully insured and all work is carried out under the NAPIT Installer scheme. All our work is carried out in accordance with BS 7671 (IEE) wiring regulations.

Our quotes are free, with no-obligation. We pride ourselves on our customer service. As experienced electricians, our workmanship carries a quality guarantee and appointments are made at a time to suit you. Highest standards met for your peace of mind.

NAPIT monitors ‘Part P’ qualified electricians. NAPIT stands for National Association of Professional Inspectors and Testers. In order to obtain membership from NAPIT, certain levels of core qualifications are required by them to ensure ‘Part P’ legislation criteria are met.

Electricians:

RW Electrical, based in Harold Wood are fully trained and experienced electricians that work throughout Essex. No matter how big or small the job is, we guarantee the quality of our work.

If you need an electrician for anything from rewiring and repairing a broken socket to figuring out why your fuse box trips your electrics to installing a new light to a partial or full rewire, we can help.

EICR/Landlord certificates:

After an electrical installation has been assessed, an EICR Certificate is provided. Any electrical damage, deterioration, flaws, or potentially hazardous circumstances are noted. Depending on the type of property, the frequency with which EICRs should be obtained varies. EICR testing is usually done every five years or at the start of a new tenancy in rental buildings. An EICR should only be carried out by a qualified electrician.

It is highly recommended to obtain an EICR report, even if it is not a legal obligation. If you’re a landlord, an Electrical Installation Condition Report can help you avoid being prosecuted if a tenant is damaged by faulty electrics in your building.

Central heating controls:

Room thermostats, central heating programmers, central heating time switches, motorised valves, thermostatic radiator valves, smart and other central heating controls can all be installed by our qualified and highly skilled electricians, to ensure your home is staying warm economically.

The central heating controls in your home can provide you complete control over your heating system. If you’re unsure of how to get the best out of your heating, RW Electrical are on hand to advise which options are best for you and your home.

Wiring installation & repairs:

New installation work can be quickly and efficiently put in place around the home, from indoor and outdoor lights to hot tubs, down lighters, security lights and new plug points.

It’s never a good idea to attempt electrical repairs on your own. RW Electrical has the knowledge to help with any urgent electrical work that is required in your house such as flickering lights, power cuts, unsafe plug sockets and more. If you suspect anything faulting with your electrics, it’s always best to get it checked out by a qualified electrician as soon as possible.

Rewires:

Given the vast volume of electrical gadgets utilised in modern households compared to the 1980s and 1990s, the current wiring may be strained and potentially unsafe as a result of the high level of power demand.
