  My roof had a number of problems that would have been quite costly, just to fix. I'd already spent quite a lot having other fixes done, by 'professional roofers' that hadn't sorted out the problems. I concluded that I needed a new roof. That's where Safe Way UK Roofing and Driveways came in. They'd recently replaced a faulty skylight window and did a good job. They also identified the issues. A great team of 5 did the work and the end result is superb. Beware that having a new roof creates a lot of mess, but the guys did a great job tidying up at the end. Was clean when they left. Happy customer

• Re-roofed the whole of the bungalow

  They couldn't do the work on the actual date because of the horrible weather but they worked well and were polite and everyone has commented that it looks like a good job and we checked that nothings leaking. There was also no pressure to pay up front and we would recommend them.

  The job entailed stripping the old roof off, replacing the laths, the roof felting and repointing the chimney and the lead also capping the front roof extension. The scaffolding company came and erected the scaffolding in preparation for them to work on the roof. They arrived as arranged on time, were very courteous and polite and did an excellent job for the quoted price. They even came back to replace tiles on my extension roof, that had been damaged by the scaffolding. As a perfectionist myself, I was very pleased with how it was all done and am now looking for a roof on my conservatory.

  We have just had a new roof put on by this company, after ringing many roofers and none turning up when they said or even getting back to us we rang Safeway, and could not be happier, William came when he said, kept to his word, kept us informed all the time, excellent workmanship, very professional and polite staff. And best of all would not take any money or a deposit before the work started and never asked for any payment until we were satisfied with the work done. Which we very much was. Thank you William and your men for an excellent job.
