  • Fixed a leaking cistern gasket

    Steve gave me a very competitive quote, His workmanship is commendable and he cleaned the things before finishing the job. I had to call him back as the water continuously flowed from the cistern. He came back and fixed the water flow. He realised the cistern gasket was not aligned on the edges so the water was still dropping out. He dismantled the system and fixed it to the utmost quality.

  • Emergency call out to fix a burst pipe

    This plumber is excellent. He was due around to remove a couple of radiators on Monday, when sunday afternoon all hell broke loose. Whilst preparing a room to be plastered, i accidentally burst a pipe that was still connected to the mains. I rang in a panic and SL Leak plumbing came over within an hour to help. He was incredibly polite and courteous especially as i had just ruined his Sunday. With zero fuss he had the burst pipe sorted and the 2 radiators removed in the blink of an eye. Will definitely be using this service again - one of the brilliant ones!

    Steve arrived promptly and had a great work ethic - disconnecting a shower, bath, two sinks and three radiators on one day and returning several days later once the room had been renovated to reconnect it all. We discovered a minor issue and he returned to the property within 30 minutes to resolve it. Good value for money - We will definitely use him again for other work in the property.

Hi my name is Steve Leak....no that isn't a catchy gimmick, it really is my name!


I have been a Plumber for nearly 30 years and learnt my trade in the Royal Navy.

I worked in Plumbing and Drainage after leaving the Navy for many years with various companies but decided to bite the bullet and go solo a while ago.


I love what I do and I enjoy meeting and chatting to new people. I am honest and reliable and will always talk my customers through every step of the job I have been asked to do.
