  Home Smart Energy have been outstanding!!! A breath of fresh air to deal with. You always speak to a human, nothing seems to be a problem for them to sort out, they are knowledgeable, polite, trustworthy, fair, accommodating, reliable and deliver on what they say they are going to do!! Before, during and after your job! So far, I have experienced excellent aftersales care and attention. I really can't fault them! The only reason I have given some 9 stars and not 10 is due to their install electricians who are like a whirlwind and leave rubbish everywhere. Everything else has been 1st class!

  My property's layout made this a slightly difficult installation, for both the solar panels and the storage battery, and so there were inevitably a few glitches along the way. What was most impressive was that at every turn the customer services and technical support staff were immediately on the case and could not have been more helpful. I have rarely experienced such friendly and supportive service - it almost made it a pleasure to have some minor issues to deal with. I'd highly recommend this company based on my experience.

  On the 25 October 2023 Home Smart installed the PV system, efficiently and as agreed. On the 8 March 2024 the inverter triggered an alarm on the Solis app, stating that the inverter had been offline for more than 24 hours. It appears the inverter has failed and requires a site visit. Reading through the documentation provided I have not found any clear guidance on maintenance and regular servicing. To date the system is still down with no indication when Home Smart will be making an engineer available for repair.

  HS Energy installed our system efficiently and communicated well throughout the process. E Mails and calls were answered in very short time frames and addressed any information requested. Installation was completed in less than a day with arrays of panels on 2 separate roofs. Installation teams were polite and conducted their scopes with minimal interruption to our schedule. Tidyness was satisfactory for a large scope. Upon payment of invoice all documents were provided for download electronically. Their communication with contractors seemed very efficient.

  Work was carried out well and on time Workers were courteous and helpful. When they left I saw that they had not replaced the loft insulation they had moved. It seemed to take a long time for the handover documentation to arrive.

  Home Smart Energy are excellent. The surveyor (Steve) who initially visited, the scaffolders (PRS), roofer (Barry) and electrician (Barry) were all professional, efficient, tidy, polite and helpful. Office staff in customer services (Jordan and Lili), finance (Danielle) and technical support (Harry and Kai) are all professional, helpful and knowledgeable . The wealth of information, warranties, certificates and their monitoring app are all reassuring, useful and easy to understand. The process from initial contact to scaffold strike in just under a month was slick and coordinated. Well done.
