Had the misfortune of some unwelcome visitors in my loft so, gave Warren a call and he was quickly round to give them their marching orders. I was very pleased with the friendliness and professionalism of Warren who as well as dealing with the initial problem was happy to give advice on the prevention of further issues. Oh, and his fee was very competitive. Would have no qualms in highly recommending Warren.

  • End-of-Tenancy Fumigation

    10Verified Review

Because I had a cat, my landlord required me to find and pay for a fumigator to either fumigate the flat, or provide a professional opinion in writing that fumigation is not required. Quick and efficient. Charged me fairly and honestly. Couldn't of asked for a better job.

Company info

Your pest problem is about to become mine!

Allow me to introduce myself: I'm Warren and I run Smyth Pest Control. I cover Somerset and the surrounding areas.

I've been in the business for years, and I've dealt with many kinds of pests.

If you need a pest controller who turns up on time and sorts your problem for good; click that call button, and we'll book an appointment.

If you want to know a bit more about my service, keep reading.

The main problems with the pest control industry:

#1 – Controllers who hope and pray for the best

It's not uncommon for a pest control company to set a trap, wait and see if the pests are caught, and if they aren't – they'll move on to the next job. This is called “hope and pray” pest control, and it's very common in the industry.

#2 – Controllers who treat your home or workplace like a tip

You might not think it, but pests are attracted to mess and anything they can use as shelter. Pest controllers who don't take the time to clear up after themselves are just inviting them in!

I take great pride in my work, and I'll always leave your property clean and tidy. The only thing you'll see when I've finished is a Pest-Free Zone.

#3 – Controllers who don't have your best interests at heart

This problem isn't just limited to the pest control industry – some people will try to sell you the most expensive solution possible, regardless of whether it's actually the best option for you.

I'm not like that. I'll always give you honest, impartial advice and recommend the most cost-effective solution for your problem. Pest control shouldn't be the price of your energy bill.

… I could go on, but you have things to do.

My strategy:

The first step is to specifically identify the pest. This might seem like an obvious one, but you'd be surprised how many companies don't do this properly. Once I take a look and I know what we're dealing with, I can start to look at what's attracting them and where they're coming from.

The next step is to tackle the issue at its source. Traps and poison might work in the short term, but if you don't deal with what's attracting the pests in the first place, they'll just keep coming back. You're effectively draining money for half a solution.

Finally, I'll carry out as many check-ups as needed to make sure the problem doesn't come back. Pests are crafty creatures, and sometimes they manage to find a way back in, even when we think we've sealed up all the cracks. That's why I check up afterwards to see how it's doing.
