    Soot and Sweep arrived on time and they were both highly professional and did a quality job. I paid a little more than if I had stayed local, but they were able to do the job within a week, which the locals weren't able to match.

    The guys turned up on time and were cheery. They had no idea how to remove the baffles in the log burner as it’s a relatively new (DEFRA compliant) style. Their solution was to try to shake it loose for about 10 minutes. My partner found the installation guide for them but they continued to rattle it about until he told them they needed to remove the pins (pretty obvious looking at it afterwards). After that, the job proceeded smoothly. I think they reassembled it ok. The completion form says it needs doing again on or before November 2024, so only 9 months? These are normally for a year.
