    Alistair and Gustavo were great, extremely professional and courteous. They completed all the work well within the schedule and made sure everything was completely clean and tidy when they left. The soundproofing is great, it's made a huge difference to the noise in the rooms.

    Honestly, they were nice but, the soundproofing hasn't worked, and they leave the floor unfinished (that is, if you want a laminated floor surface, you have to do it yourself). I had noise coming from the downstairs neighbours, so they thickened the floor, but the noise is seemingly transferred by the wall cavity (or perhaps a vent). The floor IS better insulated but, overall the work was expensive given its negligible impact. Laminating the floor myself was fine but annoying. It would've been easier for them to do it while the room was still cleared out, and I would've paid extra.

  • Soundproofing of a ceiling and a wall

    I have had a ceiling and a wall soundproofed by Ryan and the team. The communication and timekeeping have been excellent throughout. However, the results of the actual soundproffing have been disappointing. I had an issue with loud creaking of the flooboards from the neighbours above. Following the soundproffing the noise was reduced by about 50%, however I am still woked up in the middle of the night when my neighbours walk on the floor. The results of soundproofing a wall have been even more disappointing as I did not notice any reduction in the noise levels of TV sounds carried through.

    Miguel, Gustavo, and Ronan were punctual, polite, and professional and the ceiling soundproofing they installed has helped to significantly reduce the noise from upstairs neighbours. This is the second set of works Soundproofing R Us have done for me (previously Alistair and Johnny installed the solution in another room - they were also great). Thanks to all the team, including Ryan, and also Lee, their plasterer/decorator contact. Happy to recommend!
