  • Tricky door lock replacement

    I contacted Stuart about my back door lock, which had half of the key to it stuck inside after it broke off. Stuart was able to come and quote a couple of days after the initial email from me. Not only did he quote, but he also did the work at the same time. The work turned out to be trickier as it was a stubborn, old lock which took some shifting. However, Stuart managed to do this and fit a new one in its place. Stuart was tidy and communicated what he was doing at all times.

    The locksmith (S) responded quickly and helpfully through Checkatrade. Discussed problem and possible solution. Agreed to meet me at the property at specific time as he was already on another job. Very clear on expected cost for the job. He arrived spot on time, explained how he would try and gain access. Managed access relatively easily with laminate inserts. S was friendly and helpful at all times. Payment with card and receipt emailed to me. S was very empathetic regarding stress of my friend who had been really worried as it was her daughter’s house, and she was away abroad. Thank you.
