    The boys were very tidy and skilled. We are very happy with the final result, we made some changes wile the work was in progress and Tom was very helpful and helped with design. Would highly recommend.

    Recently completed a Dropped Kerb within a week of receiving the quotation, as agreed. Work was completed in one day which was extremely convenient and delivered a faultless finish. I would highly recommend Stern Construction to complete any of their advertised services. Do not hesitate to get in touch with Tom if you are considering his company, competitively priced and very tidy. Great job, thank you again.

  • Boundary wall rebuild. New patio. Concrete base for sauna and tool shed. Driveway paving.

    The boundary wall was a job too much. Rendering peeled within a month. Never came back to repair despite promises and being paid in full (my stupidity). The rest of the job still holding up.

    REALLY did not want to write this review. Stern completed our driveway December 2022, we paid on the day they finished understanding they would return to brush the sand in-between the blocks - never happened. The special draining tarmac they used has failed, its worn down in places and coming away, this started a few months afterwards, NUMEROUS phone calls to Thomas until September, every time promised he'd be in contact next week to rectify, never called. We were very clear we needed good drainage, showing pictures, the soakaway they dug cannot cope and every time it rains, enormous puddle.

    Stern Construction created a lovely patio area that really completes the garden. Work was completed in a timely manner and Tom and Dan showed up on time every day and were professional and polite as well as friendly. They made suggestions that improved the appearance of the patio area I had envisaged and which didn’t impact the cost. The work area was kept tidy and the end result is brilliant.

    This is the third time the Stern team have completed work for me and I wouldn’t go anywhere else. Tom has great vision and he and his team are able to bring this to life quickly and efficiently. The team completed a custom designed baton fence for me and the result is beautiful, I’ll be finding more projects for them to complete.
