  They were asked to treat a badly infested lawn, trim some small trees and generally tidy up a small garden. Four weeks on the lawn is as bad as it was, trees and a shrub were hacked to the point where they are going to have to be removed. They were due to renovate our patio but I cancelled them. Weeds were left untouched.

  We asked for the garden to be weeded. First visit the lawn was cut, a bit of weeding done but he apparently needed to come back and turn over soil. 2 hours work - £150! Next visit arrived 2 hours late. Did some work edging pergola paving as agreed then proceeded to turn over soil. No weeds removed, all growing again, said he needed to come back with tiller which we had asked him not to use due to shallow tree roots. Chopped up couch roots rather than removing so we still have to deal with them.Wanted to prune back ceanothus which was about to flower and thought neighbour’s camellia was a rose
