  Sam provided us with a quote to install a log burner in our existing fireplace, removing the old gas fire and modifying the existing marble surround as a base plate for the stove to sit on. Advised on correct size stove and installed flue with the help of a hired cherry picker. Very happy with the completed work which was done to a professional standard and ensured all furniture was covered to keep things clean and tidy.

• Fitting new woodburner

  In our initial meeting Sam advised on sourcing and using a suitable wood burning stove and thereafter sent us a detailed estimate. Following acceptance he modified our fireplace as required and installed a new granite hearth and wood burning stove (in place of our open fire). He put dust sheets over our furniture and on the carpet before beginning his work and was neat and tidy throughout. On completion he tested the wood burner and advised on how to get the best out of it with useful hints and tips. He was courteous and helpful throughout.
