  The carpenter was the only one to actually answer the phone. He gave me a quote roughly over the phone and came 2days later. Others didn't answer at all. His work was totally professional and arrived on time. I found that his quote was reasonable. I will use him again for sure.

• Fitting new cupboards and flooring

  Ben came around and listened to what I wanted done. He also made some good suggestions. His communication through out the job was also very good. Ben cleans up after ever day and you'd never know he'd been working. The quote he gave me was the final bill with no extra hidden costs smuggled in and was a reasonable price too . His work is very very good, he did amazing job and total transformed my kitchen and dining room.

  Ben took some of my quirky teak doors and turned them into beautiful bespoke kitchen cupboards. He respectfully listened to what I was aiming for and helped me achieve it, even though others might not have bothered with my recycling approach! Excellent carpenter, very professional and tidy, and a nice person. I definitely recommend Taz Carpentry Services and would commission again.

  Ben responded quickly to my initial call and carried out a site visit more or less straight away. He provided a competitive quote and a fitting date was agreed quickly, had to wait 7 weeks due to his work schedule (I generally take that as a good sign). Arrived on the agreed date and time, having sent a courtesy email a couple of working days before. I was very impressed with his workmanship and he completed the work to a high standard in a day and a half. A very friendly and pleasant worker who I have no hesitation in recommending to others.

• A pleasure to work with and excellent job

  Ben did a range of jobs for us following major building work. He built custom made bookshelves and cupboards in our lounge, boxed in a cylinder and Under Floor Heating console, and built new utility cupboards. He communicated with us at all stages, telling us what he was doing and when. If he said he was coming he came. If he didn't we knew why. This was in marked contrast with the main building contractor we had used. He was patient as we worked out exactly what we wanted and accommodated several changes and additions with good humour. We are absolutely delighted with the end result.
