    We reached out to Terry through checkatrade and received a prompt response, he came round to quote for works and provided a clear scope of works, detailing what he’d be doing and giving a fixed price. Communication throughout the works was clear, polite and informative. Terry left the property clean everyday when he finished for the day and took care around our belongings. We were very happy with the level of workmanship from Terry and would highly recommend him for others. Work was completed to a high standard, but price was very reasonable.

    Terry visited our house and was very clear what was required and how he planned to carry out the work. His estimate was a fixed price and sensibly included a three stage payment plan - materials, 50% labour midway and 50% labour on completion. A very professional decorator with a traditional approach. We met Terry after he completed some work for our neighbour, showing that a personal recommendation is so important. I can't recommend Terry highly enough.

    This was a big job as there was a lot of old water damage and cracks to repair. Terry was meticulous in his preparation and the end result is immaculate. Terry has previously decorated two large bedrooms, a large lounge and stairs and upstairs hall. All have been completed to a high standard, within the agreed quote and timescale. He even met with my two dogs approval! I can recommend him highly.

Terry Clohessy Decorating Services were first established in South-West France in 2004, providing a wide range of internal and external decorating services to both British and French clients until 2015 and re-location back to Billingshurst.

I specialise in providing a whole range of interior decorating services including painting, wallpapering and bespoke hand painting of kitchen units.

The foundations of my business are based on the firm belief that thorough preparation and attention to detail are absolutely essential for achieving a high quality, long lasting finish, that and the use of high quality paints and materials throughout.

Over the years I have gained a reputation of being reliable and trustworthy and I take great pride in meeting all of my customers requirements and ensuring a high standard of work at a reasonable price. My free of charge quotations are fully inclusive of all labour and materials and are fixed/firm and fully guaranteed with no hidden extras.

I endeavour to keep all disruption to an absolute minimum whilst work is taking place and I ensure that each working area is left clean and tidy on completion of the work. Whilst work is taking place, all furnishings and floors are covered with non-absorbent protective sheeting.

Deciding on colour schemes to create the right effect can be a daunting task and to aid my customers in this I also provide a full colour sampling service.
