  Installation was professional and very quick - 2 days to have all solar, battery and heat pump installed. EBC have been great from start to finish and have been very quick to answer questions and address any concerns or worries - would recommend.

• Fitting Air Source Heating

  I would like to thank the EBC for the fantastic service I received from them regarding the fitting of the Air Source Heating System. I have had a few gremlins with the system and the EBC faced it head on and never avoided my calls, looking after me 100%, absolutely FABULOUS service. I would have no hesitation in recommending EBC. Thank you to Lesley, Heather, Liz, Graeme, Lee, Stewart, Craig, Kyle, Brian, and Lee. Sorry if I have missed anyone from the fantastic A Team.

• Solar pv and battery storage installation

  I recently had the pleasure of getting solar panels and battery storage installed by the Edinburgh Boiler Company, and I couldn't be happier with the experience. From the initial inquiry to the installation day, the company displayed exceptional efficiency. The installation team, well-organised and skilled, completed the setup of 10 panels and a battery in just one day. I highly recommend this company to anyone considering embarking on their solar journey. A five-star experience all around!

• False advertising of boiler price

  Combi boiler advertised on their website for £2779 fully fitted and including VAT. After survey the quote was £3015.60 for just this same boiler plus £892.80 of additional costs. The additional costs are understandable, but bumping up the price of the boiler by 8.5% and hoping it wouldn't be noticed in the quote is false advertising! They failed to respond to my email highlighting this, and just seem to want to try and dismiss it as the 'additional costs' when these are clearly separate from the inflated boiler price! Waste of time and terrible customer service!

• New boiler and controls

  Company were contracted to replace old boiler and controls as the latter had failed. Company failed to send a Surveyor out to look at the job (despite saying they would) and consequently failed to pick up a problem until the job was completed , albeit with a temporary bodge on the existing controls. They said they would "sort it out" and they have not. They proved difficult to contact for a week after the installation and then, eventually, advised they would charge me and additional £1,800 to sort out their mistake. Utterly incompetent AVOID
