  • Smashed a double glazed window in the conservatory.

    Used checkatrade and got 3 quotes to carry out the work. Decided to use Portland Window Company. Tony came round and measured the window and told us it would probably be a week as he had to order the replacement glass. A week later he replaced the glass. The work took about 10 minutes. Very tidy and very courteous. Would definitely recommend this company to anyone and would have no hesitation in using them again. Excellent.

  • Re-sealing windows

    Would highly recommend Portland Windows. I had 4 windows which had blown. Portland Windows was the only company out of my estimates which was interested. Other window companies said my windows couldn't be re-sealed as the diamond cut glass is obsolete now. Tony successfully got them re-sealed and I am very happy not to have to change to plain glass. Anything to do with windows I would now go straight to Tony at Portland Windows and would highly recommend him to you!

    I would highly recommend Tony. I have special diamond cut glass which I wanted to keep, rather than having plain glass, as some of them had blown. Tony said they could be re-sealed. Other window companies did not offer me this and said it wouldn't be possible on my glass as it is now obsolete. He is very efficient and can't thank him enough. Will definitely use him again!

I have taken a different approach to glazing after working for many different companies for the last 20 years and seeing how they treated their customers. 

 

Inviting somebody into your house can be daunting. I wanted to create an environment where the customer feels at ease with me being in their home without any outdated pressure sales techniques

 

 

I am a certified surveyor and installer meaning that the work will be carried out by myself and not subcontracted to an installer you have never met. This gives you confidence regarding the workmanship and also that there will be no hidden costs added along the way.

 

 

 

My advertising source is customer recommendations. I take pride in my work and get a sense of achievement out of the positive responses from my customers. I will not leave a job until the customer is completely happy with the outcome and feels happy with the way that I respected them and their property. 

 

 

 

I start a job and finish the project before I move onto the next one. I have no expensive overheads meaning each job is started and finished promptly.

 

 

I am trusted by Certass and recommended by Checkatrade within the window industry. 

 

 

I use local suppliers and manufacturers and take a great deal of pride in my work

 

 

Any specification or design can be fulfilled to meet the customers’ needs, whether this is a composite door or a bi-fold door or replacement glass.
