    John is fantastic! Our new doors fit beautifully and the glass bannister and solid wood hand rails look absolutely stunning. He gave us options around what the glass could look like and choices of hand rails so we could make it our own. He works methodically and precisely, giving you a perfect end result. He’s friendly and fitted in our busy house really well while he was here, he is tidy, and will definitely be asking him to do future work.

    Excellent experience from start to finish. I cannot recommend John highly enough. We found John on Checkatrade and invited him to quote the job (panelling, feature wall and cupboard) which he did. All communications were prompt and comparably priced. He was professional, tidy and always happy to discuss different ideas. It is clear he is a master of his craft.     John helped us out with some broken staircase nosings and refurbishing some wacky shaped victorian doors, as well as fixing a listed victorian summerhouse door. The work was excellent and we found John highly experienced in all aspects of carpentry and able to do everything himself, also providing strong communication, sticking to the timings he gave and all for a reasonable price. We cannot recommend more highly

I have 40 years’ experience in making and fitting cabinets as well as just about all other domestic woodwork, I also repair damaged furniture and carry out specialist work such as wood turning and carving.
