• New doors fitted and work on floorboards

  We needed 7 new doors fitted in our house and some work to strengthen some floorboards on our stairs and landing. Dean and Ben carried out a very high quality job, and were friendly and courteous throughout. When they finished they made sure everything was clean and tidy again before leaving. We were very impressed with True Grain, and would be happy to recommend them to anyone who needs joinery work carrying out. 10/10.

• Replacement flat roof and timber work

  We had a replacement flat roof including additional work to the joists, lead work, new insulation, facias, soffits, and gutters. All work was completed to a very high standard, including additional work to resolve issues that were discovered when the old roof was removed. Work was completed on budget and they even came in on a Sunday to make up lost time due to the weather. Dean and Ben were polite, punctual, and tidy, and kept us informed of the progress at every stage. They exceeded our expectations and we wouldn't hesitate to recommend or use their services again.

  I would recommend Dean and his team without hesitation. He went above and beyond what was asked of him, and what we expected. A true craftsman who took pride in his work. He was very polite, tidied and cleaned, and did a superb job. He stuck to his quote, even though there were more problems to solve, and there were no hidden extras. He even stayed on to complete the work when it took longer than expected. His knowledge and skills were great, and gave us full confidence in him. It's so hard to find a good tradesman, but Dean has restored our faith. He was exceptional.

  Wow, what can we say? From the moment we met Dean when he first came round to quote, I liked him and felt he was right to do the work. And boy, we were not wrong! Super prompt every day, courteous, considerate, worked quietly and smoothly. Always checking with me that I was happy at all stages, suggesting slight changes and improvements. Very particular about his work, amazing attention to detail. And cleaning??!! Wowzers, the boys made it spotless every evening before they left. Could not recommend them enough!! Very very pleased.
