• External steps, brick walls and terrace

  Phil and Dan built two flights of steps, two brick-faced retaining walls and laid a new terrace. They were prompt, friendly and helpful. We had a fairly exacting set of requirements, but I always felt confident that Phil fully understood what was required, which made the whole process much less stressful. He always checked before doing things and offered great advice. The quality of the brickwork is superb, the result is exactly what we wanted: it ties in seamlessly with the existing terrace and brickwork. We will be using them for future projects and can highly recommend them.

• Roofing and mortar repairs

  Phil put a new roof on my garden house. The old one, a type of thatch, had rotted away. He found different material and completed the job very satisfactorily. He also did some repair work on a garden wall and some garden steps. Phil always kept in good communication which is gratifying. He is polite and he listens to his customer's wants.

• Brickwork and groundwork

  Phil and his colleague come on the day and time they stated and were friendly. Polite and reliable. They worked very hard and quickly - we were constantly amazed at their strength and speed - even though the weather was very hot. Also they were happy and able to adapt without hesitation to a change we made. We would have no hesitation in recommending Phil and his team and would certainly use them again in the future.
