10An extremely good experience received from Wilson Engineering from enquiry to receiving calculations for beam needed for wall removal. Ellie and Danielle were very quick and polite to respond to any questions I had about the process. There was no delay in an engineer visiting my house to carry out the home assessment, which is what also made me choose Wilson’s, rather than the online companies who will NOT provide a home assessment. The calculations were provided very quickly after the visit. Due to the positive experience I have received from Wilson’s, I am happy to recommend them .

4Verified ReviewWe commissioned Wilson Engineering to carry out a structural survey for a lateral movement issue, to help advise us of a way forward. We had a visit from someone (not a structural engineer) and received a report a day later with a few photos, a general nod that it looks like lateral movement (which we knew already) and some generic advice which could have been cut and pasted from any website, or could even have come out of ChatGPT. We are now out of pocket and no further forward with understanding our issue than when we started.

10Verified ReviewI happened to contact Wilson structural engineers as well as other firms, but we chose to go with Wilson after our 1st conversation! They came across friendly and knowledgeable and once we gave them the contract they did not disappoint us. We were left a bit high and dry with our architects but Wilson sorted things out for us. If you haven't been through the construction process before I have to say bar the pain of planning, the next hurdle is people and companies promising the world and giving you a half eaten hotdog instead. I've experienced this but thankfully Wilson were really good.
