• Replace extension roof

  The trader used our old lead on a new roof. No paperwork or receipt for the work done. This was despite phone calls, texts and emails from me. Asked for payment in cash. I asked for him by phone, to return to check the work done. He told us Tuesday or Wednesday but didn't turn up. I had to pay for someone else to finish taking old lead off and renewing it.

• Leaking roof near chimney

  They came when they said they would. Went on roof to chimney, found missing cement and replaced it. Sealed it all up and said it should be ok. Unfortunately still a little water ingress. Came back when asked and did further work including replacing a ridge tile. We haven’t been up in the attic since but were assured that if further work is needed they will sort it. All nice and polite too
