  • Fantastic tradesman… at last!

    My husband and I have really struggled with tradesmen over the updating of our 1930s house. Alex was on time, fantastic communication, so tidy and cleaned up after every day for us and the dogs. We are so happy with his work. It took around 3 days in total. One to get the plaster off the walls, then one day for drilling and putting the grey layer on the wall, then plastered the next day. He finished early and even gave us money back as he didn’t stay the whole term he invoiced us for. Great guy, great experience & if you need a damp proof course with a knowledgable tradesmen..choose him!!

    Alex was easy to contact, and communicated in a professional manner throughout all our liaison. I called him to ask for a quote, and he asked for a few photos of the issue and gave us his opinion on the matter straight away. He then came over the next day to view the issue in person. The following week he started and finished the job. We are very pleased with the standard of work carried out, and would definitely look to use his services again if needed.

He remained so throughout the days he was at our house. Alex kept to the price he quoted us, there were no hidden extras and his work is of a high standard. My name is Alex Truss, I'm a 48 year old Damp Proofing specialist based in Carshalton Surrey. I have been specialising in Rising Damp for the last 25 years.  

After learning the ropes through my dad who was also in the industry I decided to go solo around 15 years ago and have never looked back. 

I work anywhere within South West London , South East London and North Surrey. 

I am a sole trader who takes pride in their work. All damp proofing works come with a 20 year guarantee. I put my name to my work and and am proud of delivering an excellent service which would be unrivalled any where else in the industry.

Not only do I specialise in the identification and treatment of rising damp I also deal with issues such and Dry Rot and Wet Rot. Crack Repair with the installation of the helibar and helibeam systems. Basement tanking and waterproofing with systems such as Vandex BB75 and the multicoat Sika1 multi coat system. I am also a first class plasterer and renderer so call me for any work above including floor laying etc.

Please note that I do not deal with condensation or any penetrating damp.

Your works may also need the removal and re-installation of say a bathroom or kitchen units. Don't worry you will be in safe hands.
