  • Kitchen renovation and fitting

    Barry and the team did a fantastic job on our kitchen. We were familiar with their work from a previous project and it was a 'no brainer' to bring in Barry for this new project. The project was finished to a high quality and throughout the build Barry is communicative and works with you to accommodate as best as possible getting things how you want them. Our project was started in early September and the team pulled out the stops to ensure everything was completed for Christmas. Barry, Gary and Steve are all very courteous and it's a pleasure having them around to be honest!

    Barry stepped in when another builder made a complete dogs dinner of my loft. Barry and his team are competent, were able to spot faults from the past builder that could have cost me my roof, then worked to put them right. Great attention to detail and left a lovely final finish. Helped us navigate building control, surveyors etc, worked around us and the kids, and arrived at bang on 8:00am everyday. Just a good bunch.

    We are thrilled with the outcome of our loft conversion. Barry and his team were friendly, polite and hardworking. They cracked on with the work and also were focused on getting a good quality finish on the work as well as doing it in a timely fashion. It took them around 8 weeks start to finish and the we are delighted with the final product. Would definitely use Baker Build again

  • Assessment of work required to complete loft conversion left unfinished by previous builder

    We were badly let down by our previous builder with a loft conversion left half finished and we urgently needed to find a contractor to complete the work. We spoke to numerous companies and Barry was the most practical and positive about how we could progress forward. He laid out a practical plan, firstly to ensure that everything that had already been completed was done correctly, worked with the surveyor and the structural engineer on how to rectify what wasn't done correctly (too many things!) and then a plan for completing the project. It was such a relief at a very stressful time!

My name is Barry, I am am the owner of BAKERBUILD.  I am in my 3rd year of trading and business is going very well but I have worked within the building trade for the past 20+ years.

Most of my work is obtained via word of mouth, so family and friends of my clients generally use my services after they have seen my work. 

Being a small family business I am very conscious of my clients needs and expectations either domestic or commercial. Our work varies from your garden patio or fencing right the way through to that new fitted kitchen or bathroom and we can also build your dream extension or loft conversion.
