    This was our third hire of Jamie. We required him to pollard two apple trees, tidy and trim a large circular fir tree, and trim a long 8 foot hedge. As on previous occasions, he arrived on time, make a excellent job of the various jobs but only left after a thorough clean and tidy up, taking away all cut branches and debris. We would recommend him.

    Having had Barnes Tree Surgeons do some tree work at our property, we asked them to return to replace the membranes and shingle in areas of the garden and to build raised beds. They were prompt and reliable, worked really hard and we're friendly and helpful. I would certainly recommend.

    I was contact by their mobile number to which I send a photo of the tree I need cut back. A price was agreed and I sent them my address and requested to know what day they wish to carry out the work so I could arrange access with my neighbour. They didn't turn up on the day / time agreed, and when I phoned them there was no answer. I left a voice message requesting they get in touch to rearrange but I have still not had any response. Don't believe the words like 'a team that you can trust' they use, it's a joke folks.

Barnes Tree Surgeons was established in 1963 and is now into its 3rd Generation of Tree Surgeons with all 3 Generations actively involved in the Business with a combined experience of over 100 years. 

Barnes Tree Surgeons takes pride in offering a personal, reliable and friendly service with a long-standing customer base. 

We are able to undertake all aspects of tree work to include the removal of large complex trees, some of which are in confined areas. We can maintain your trees including the removal of dead wood and crown thinning. Your garden can have more light flow with correct tree maintenance. Hedge work is also undertaken. We can supply and erect all types of fencing and gates and will remove your old fencing. 

Our customers are both private individuals and commercial clients. We cover a wide area which includes Hampshire, Dorset and beyond.

We always aim to undertake work in a highly skilled, professional manner causing the least disturbance with the site being left clean and tidy. 

We do comply with BS 3998 standards and working at height regulations. All equipment is maintained. We have our own stump grinder and chipping machines. Our staff have relevant qualifications and we hold public liability insurance.
