  • Small downstairs Extension

    Although the start of the project was delayed, when they arrived the builders were extremely efficient and worked hard to get the job done. It took 3 months from start to finish to knock through existing wall and block up a doorway, extend the kitchen and install 2 RSJs. A replacement kitchen was installed, a new boiler fitted and building of a downstairs WC. There was minimal snagging and the company was quick to return to complete this.

    From start to finish blends construction were amazing. They were polite and tidy. When I asked them to be extra careful with any mess or dust with the neighbours, they were great. No issues at all. The brickwork finish is perfect and all the works carried out were done to a high standard. They made the whole process enjoyable and stress free. Would definitely use again and would highly recommend.

    As part of the extension, Blends agreed to lay a patio, and level and returf the garden. An amazingly skilled level of attention to detail with the paving - incorporating the various manhole covers and awkward corners. Delighted with the result and looking forward to enjoying the garden in the summer. Highly recommended for paving and garden work.

    We had used Blends a couple of times before and the quote was fair and we knew their work was great. This time, we waited a while for them to start but when they were here, they worked incredibly hard. The job suffered a number of complications and delays - through no fault of Blends (thanks Southern Water!) and they didn't give up on the job despite having to go between other jobs - and managed to finish it. It is an excellent space now, and well worth all the heartache and never once did Blends falter in their commitment to us and getting the job finished. Highly recommended professionals.
