    We found Chris on Check a Trade and contacted him because of his consistent reviews. The existing bathroom was in a really bad state of repair, very small with limited scope for changes. Chris came up with an ingenious suggestion for moving the existing shower and hand basin and by turning the bathroom door made what was an impossibly small space work with a full sized shower, loo and wash hand basin. He worked to time and budget, kept us informed, was polite and approachable. He is now installing a second bathroom for another family member

    Chris quoted for a complete revamp of a small en-suite bathroom, and pointed us to a local supplier that he regularly deals with, for all the items that would be needed. Once all that was sorted out, he gave us a start date, and commenced work on the given date. The job had challenges, due to some less than optimal previous work, but Chris did his best to overcome these. Chris also arranged an electrician as needed. The job is mostly completed, and the room is now in daily use, with just a few finishing touches to be completed, which he is going to do while he's busy with the main bathroom.

Chris provided really good opinions on changes we could implement through his experience and was always happy to take the time to listen to what we wanted. Company info

I have over 30 years experience in the trade and personally undertake the plumbing and tiling work. 

I use a reliable plasterer who can skim new walls and ceilings as required.

In short, as well as doing the major part of the work, I will also act as a project manager ensuring any trades that are required will turn up to do the work as needed and will not hold the job up. 

I am able to do minor building work such as knocking a w/c and separate bathroom into one, move non-structural walls to make rooms bigger or build completely new rooms.  It is also my aim to keep you fully informed of any work that cannot be covered by original quotation.  This would include such things as a necessity to replace plasterboard after removing existing tiling or the replacement of rotten flooring and stud work. 

It is my aim to change the average size bathroom, fully tile the walls and floors, fitting all accessories, etc in no more than 5-8 working days (don't worry if it's your only loo, I won't leave you without it!).
