  We have been very impressed with Ian and his team for the work they have carried out for us. The quality of work is very high, they are very polite and courteous and easy to work with. At times the weather was adverse and this did hinder the project but overall Ian and his team did what was best and the final product we are exceptionally pleased with.

  Hired Ian and his lovely crew to relay a new patio and put up fences and trellis , nothing was too much for them they were always lovely on time ,polite and we will definitely be having them back in the new year for more work .

  Whilst this was a relatively small job for Ian and his colleague, they completed our replacement lawn and small patio area to a high standard, ensuring at all stages that we were happy with what they were doing and the materials/slabs used. Very happy with the completed job.

  Previous landscaping adopted the use of sleepers in building a raised terrace but these had distorted and caused movement in the patio. We asked Classic Landscaping to remove the sleepers and build a wall in house matching brick and relay the patio and make good. We are extremely pleased with the workmanship, the friendliness and tidiness of the team. We strongly recommend Classic Landscaping for any landscaping projects.

• Resin bound driveway

  We wanted our existing driveway widened and finished with a resin-bound surface, and the remaining lawn returfed. I got quotes from 3 companies recommended to me by friends who’d all had similar work done. Classic Landscaping gave a competitive quote and so we went with them. Their attention to detail has been brilliant, they’ve worked really hard, and despite being a man down due to illness they’ve managed to get the work finished in good time. Ian and Scott have been a pleasure to have working on our driveway and we’re extremely pleased with the finish. I wouldn’t hesitate to recommend.

• Driveway widening and retaining wall rebuilt

  The project schedule was drawn up by myself for various firms to quote against. Classic Landscaping were chosen because they listened to our ideas at the quotation stage and offered advice over some of the aspects. The team of 3 turned up on the day they said they would and remained on the job for the contract period of 2 weeks. They are all very personable. All aspects of the job are talked through before work starts and continues throughout the contract. There were 3 stage payments for this contract with none upfront the final payment after satisfactory completion.
