  Too many companies take the money and run and don't return to fix subsequent issues. I had a new roof fitted by Essence in 2019. Five years later I had a small issue with water ingress next to a skylight. No questions asked, they came back and sorted the problem under their guarantee. The willingness of a tradesman/company to return to address is something you should consider. You can have peace of mind in choosing Essence for your work.

  I fully recommend Essence Roofing. We engaged them on a big roof repair and from the quotation all the way through to completion they have been brilliant. Knowledgeable, detailed about what materials they will use, honest and hard working. They worked through some of the worst weather, always helpful, always cheerful and great at communicating all along the way. They never upped the price and left the site tidy at the end.

  Essence roofing were fantastic from start to completion. Complete roof replacement on me and my neighbours semi detached properties. The two lads who were on the job from start to finish were hard working, courteous knowledgeable and polite. Essence Office staff were always contactable and promptly responded to any queries and questions. I have no hesitation in recommending Essence Roofing, and I don't normally leave reviews but would feel as I would be doing a diservice if I didn't.

  Essence were very good with communication throughout the planning and then the work itself. The price was fair for the quality of the work done and the tradesmen worked hard and kept us up to date with progress throughout. I would recommend Essence particularly having been let down by other companies as they arrive on time for appointments, quote jobs quickly and carry out the work as per the planning we discussed.

  We had three old skylights replaced with Velux windows and the work was carried out to a really high standard. The quote was slightly higher than from other companies but I really have no complaints with the quality and standard of the finished job. The team carried out the job politely and professionally. Would definitely recommend this company and I will use them again when required.

  I found this company to be reliable and completed the work on the agreed dates. From the street and the photographs they supplied on completion I am happy with how the completed work looks, and on the last day the workers done a great job of cleaning up after themselves. I even recommended the company to a neighbour looking for some roof work to be completed.
