• Very Tall Cupboard Doors

  F&S Joinery ( Fitzroy ) came to our office today and did an excellent job taking down and re-fitting very tall cupboard doors. He was very professional, He turned up when he said he would, did what he had to do, cleaned up and made sure all was left clean and tidy. I would definitely recommend him for any work needed in the future. A lovely job very well done.

• Door hanging

  Needed a joiner to replace all the doors in my house and Fitzroy did a greet job. The doors were super heavy and not easy to shift or line up. He did a great job, did exactly what he said hed deliver, arrived early each day and worked tirelessly, which I always appreciate. He got the old doors removed and the new ones in place and aligned properly in good time and they really have added a touch of quality to the home's finish. I wouldn't hesitate to recommend him or use him again for another job.

  Job was for a staircase but there was lots of work to be done on the property. Fitzroy quickly came up with solutions for all the work needed - replaced rotten joists in a whole room - installed winder staircase - plasterboarded the full house - professionally skimmed (much better than other plasterers) - enlarged and installed new loft hatch with ladder - new doors, skirting and architraves throughout the house. - meter and boiler cabinets Took care of lots of hard work. Very friendly with offering services, also let us choose where to save money and do our own work too. Highly recommended

  Fitzroy was very easy to work with. Happy to explain the plan and to keep us up to date with progress. Any questions were answered patiently and in full. He started the work when planned, and finished on time. The work involved a lot of mess which was generally well contained. Fitzroy was a good problem solver, as there were a few unforeseen issues which he had to overcome, mainly to do with the condition of the existing joists and flooring. He worked consistently across the day, but was chatty and friendly when he did pause. We are very happy with the outcome.

  What can I say this is the second time I have used Fitzroy to transform our home ! His workmanship is amazing the standard is very high absolutely love our new stairs and flooring Fitzroy is a brilliant tradesman very professional takes care and pride of his work I would highly recommend

• New bannisters and stairs

  An incredible job! I needed two sets of new bannisters as the old ones were unstable, as well as filling in some open riser stairs to make them safer. Fitzroy did an amazing job, explained everything beforehand and completed the work in great time and to a very high standard. He also sorted out some of the stairs which were misaligned/had slipped over time, which I hadn't even realised were a problem. A really nice guy, a pleasure to have in the house, and as a first time buyer this was my first time hiring someone for a big house job so I really appreciated the positive experience!
