    Paul came due to key just turning in lock, he had to order a new mechanism which he came back and fitted a couple of days later, pleasant and courteous and would highly recommend.

    We had a UPVC door that was locked shut with no key. Contacted Fletcher Locks and they were very responsive and came out the same day. Very knowledgeable and explained what may need to be done and gave prices before starting. Got to work and the job was done very quickly. Friendly and reasonably priced service, would definitely recommend.

    We had a door without a key since buying the house. Called Fletcher locks and they came the same day, explained all the possibilities of what might need doing and then quickly replaced the lock and lubrcated all the door mechanisms. Price was reasonable for the work done. Would recommend to others, hopefully I don’t need to use a locksmith too often but he’s good at what he does.

Fletcher Locksmiths have been trading in The North East as locksmiths for over 37 years with a retail shop in Fulwell Sunderland that offers key cutting ect and a unit at Pennywell Sunderland for our range of safes ect . 

We have been recognised for our efforts during the Corona Pandemic. We have made local and national news helping NHS , key workers and religious institutions. We have supported our great front line workers and hope that you can choose us as your locksmith.   

Our call out service covers the North East area 

We are a family business that has built a great reputation over the years for quality, discretion and affordable prices. 

We can usually give a fixed price over the phone .

If you can provide photos of door/broken lock, It`s always a massive help before we call-out.

We use Whatsapp , email and messenger. Its hard for you to know what type of lock you have and a picture makes it so much easier for us to understand what lock you require.

Upvc door problems seem to be our main work nowadays with failed lock mechanisms and door barrels being the most common faults.

Our Locksmiths are also trained to work on Wooden Doors and mortice locks as most doors were wooden when we started out.
