• Replacement Shower

  Gye has completed a new shower installation in my bathroom. We had a leak that was coming through into the kitchen, Gye solved this and we had a complete new shower cubicle fitted. He also replaced the complete kitchen ceiling. During the course of works I asked for additional work to be carried out and this was no problem for Gye. In the original quote he included new floor joists but these weren't needed and were not charged for. I have used Gye for 7 years and always found him helpful and efficient.

  I found them professional, friendly and trustworthy. The quality of their work is top notch. They turned up when they said they would and consulted me as work progressed. They provided valuable practical advice, for example to rather install something different. The assistance with choosing the furniture and assessories were invaluable. There were problems with a delayed delivery, and then a defective shower tray, were they went the extra mile to sort out the problems and limit the delay caused as much as possible. I highly recommend this firm. They are excellent.

• Kitchen installation

  This project involved demolishing a wall, running a new ring main and altering the plumbing as well as installation. We discussed and agreed the details of the work beforehand and agreeing the order in which the parts would be done and how long they should take. During the work, Gye was always available for discussion. The dirt, noise and confusion was kept to a minimum and I was able to use the kitchen for cooking at all times during the work. The work was completed to a high standard with all my requirements met.

• Refurbishment of existing kitchen

  Very pleased with the way Gye and James fitted new doors, draw fronts, kickboards and wastebin unit in my kitchen. Not an easy job as the kitchen design/layout was old and nothing was standard. Gye's patience with the door suppliers was admirable

• Painting (staining) the wood of walls and roof inside and out of the conservatory.

  This job had some tricky aspects, especially in dealing with the large glass roof of the conservatory. This required erection of a lightweight gantry. In addition the weather was changing frequently, which had to be coped with. Nonetheless, the job was done swiftly and expertly. All three people involved were courteous and considerate, always trying to help sort any snags.
