  • Fitting new security locks and enabling a key code lock

    On moving in to our new house we needed to replace a number of door locks, get help with two door locks that had jammed and re-enable a defunct code lock that had not been used for many years. Andy Knight responded immediately to my request for help, replaced our door locks quickly and efficiently, eased the jammed door locks and after much research plus a further time consuming visit got the code lock back working. His professional, knowledgeable and thorough approach, really positive and pleasant attitude instilled confidence and trust while quickly resolving our problems.

    Hi Andy just wanted to say I can't thank you enough for sorting my door lock out for me , being locked out at any time is not nice but when your almost 80 years old it is very upsetting , so to have someone trustworthy and dependable like you come out and do an excellent job means the world , the other locksmith firm that I felty uneasy about so decided not to use , I have just tried to check up the company out of interest , and I think they are fake . I will recommend your firm to friends and family , once again thank you

    We needed help to free up a seized mortice lock on a gate and Andy was very helpful. He arrived on time and managed to get the lock to work. He then lubricated the internal mechanism and the lock is now working perfectly. Andy does not charge a call out fee. We’d definitely recommend Andy.

  • Stiff front door lock now smooth as butter

    Our front door multi-lock was so stiff I'd had to replace a snapped handle. But I'd heard using the wrong lubricant can jam them even worse. Andy arrived within an hour, recommended GT85 every month or two, and showed us where to spray, and it's now smooth as butter. And when I asked him to check a patio door lock, he found the bolts were loose, so a double win. Could not have done better, thank you.
