• External Wall Insulation

  Weather problems delayed the intended start a little. Thereafter work progressed well, despite some more inclement weather. Various trades - scaffold, plumbing adjustment, insulation and render system installation and completion, roofing adjustment, re-fit of external plumbing and minor electrics, all came in planned order. Staff and tradespeople were helpful and thoughtful and workmanship looks very good.

• Internal wall removal

  Horton Builders were very professional at every stage from quoting to finishing the project. Removal of the wall, replacement of support beam, electrical fittings, new ceilings and plastering was all carried out courteously and in a friendly manner by the individual specialists in their individual trade. The whole operation was managed by Colin on a basis that involved daily contact and availability to ensure that there were no problems.

• External Wall Render/Porch/Roof Works

  We required an external wall render, new porch, new soffit/facias, guttering, roof works/repairs. The guys are Horton were flawless from start to finish from professionalism to communication to cleanliness. I'd highly recommend Horton to anyone and will be getting back in touch on my next project soon. The energy consumption difference from the external wall insulation is crazy. Our usage is down two thirds now and the home is much warmer and nicer.

• Extensive modification of an existing rear extension

  From then get go Colin and his team worked hard. He liaised with the building engineer and surveyor to correctly create what we had in mind. We had used an architect initially but found we found with Colins expertise and knowledge we had a more livable solution . We now have a fantastic space to live in that everyone admires when they come to visit. We also rely on Colin as our builder for other alterations we need doing both for us and for our family.
