    In one word - excellent! This was a quick job to install a piece of cornice where a fireplace used to be. The cornice was cut, installed and blended into perfection so it now looks like one piece. very nice, knowledgable, professional and courteous. Would highly recommend for any cornice related job - no job is too small!

    James was a pleasure to work with. Very pleasant to speak to and courteous when conducting a site visit - took his shoes off without asking! Massive relief to find someone who genuinely knows the craft of artexing, this is not a common skill anymore. James repaired numerous cracks from non subsidence movement in the ceilings and walls in the kitchen and made good a number of other areas left a mess by previous tradespeople including repairs to cornices. All the work took just a few hours in the morning including tidying up after himself. Would highly recommend!

    James is a skilled craftsman who takes pride in his work. He is extremely skilled at his job and nothing is too much trouble. He is super organised and tidy and cleans up as he goes along. He replaced some coving and added some skirting board for me and I couldn’t fault his work. His communication is second to none. Thank you ever so much James. Would 100% recommend James.

Hi my names James McMillan, I'm a coving and fibrous cornice specialist who make all types of fibrous cornice.


I am an Artex expert and sole trader working in Essex and surrounding areas.


I have been in the industry for over 28 years carrying out domestic and commercial work.


I do all coving works from Gyproc to handmade Fibrous Cornice and 3D Fibrous panels along with Skirting and Architrave's


No job to small from a bathroom to 100 new homes.
