  Contacted Janis through checkatrade. Sent him the drawings of our kitchen and he gave a quote to do the job. He was available on the weekend which suited us, as we wanted the job done soon. He is very good at his job and pays attention to detail. Overcame a few obstacles and completed the tops to a very good standard. I would highly recommend his services.

  Janis is an unbelievable carpenter. I’ve had builders come round since and they have commented on his work saying it is impeccable. His attention to detail is incredible and I always feel in safe hands with him when he is on site. I have used Janis for over 16 years and would never have anyone else do any carpentry work in my property. He is quite simply the best. Highly highly recommend.

  If 107 10/10 reviews sound too good to be true, it isn't, because Janis is truly excellent. He came to visit my site within 24hrs to remove an old integrated washing machine that was stuck below a kitchen worktop built too low (by the previous owner's contractor). It was a tricky task. Janis resolved the issue with creativity, problem-solving skills and meticulous expertise. He even identified several plumbing and hardware issues and proceeded to fix them flawlessly. I couldn't have found someone more skilled, efficient, effective, courteous and trust-inspiring all in one. Janis is a gem.

  I had an odour coming from somewhere in my kitchen and needed someone to remove the kitchen units, isolate the source, remove debris, seal gaps, replace the units and make good. Janis was excellent. Efficient, timely, friendly and got the job done as described.

  I have used Janis for over 15+ plus years on all renovations. He is an exceptional carpenter and craftsman. His meticulous attention to detail is one of his best attributes this is of course in addition to his politeness, timeliness and overall professionalism. He listens, advises on best course of action and most of all gives you that reassurance you are in safe hands. This has been the case over 15 years. I wait for his availability and builders who have been on site continue to comment on the carpentry work he has done over the years (and most recently re the garden fencing and entrance)
