    After a misfire and an advisory to not drive my car anymore following further inspection, I rang around for advice, quotes, availability and most of the answers I got were unhopeful and had me thinking about scrapping the old girl altogether. I started the call to Kingfisher with “you probably can’t help me” and how wrong was I! Ian knew exactly what I was talking about, incredibly reassuring and had my car reviewed, fixed and sent off before I even had the time to panic. Great crew, great service and will be coming back for everything car related in the future.

    I had so much trouble with my 2009 VW sirocco (brought by me new, which I owned for 15 years) when the 3rd cinder went. Getting ripped off left, right and centre, being charged for servicing, spark plugs, oil changes it never needed. Heart breaking as I looked after her and loved that car. Finally I found Ian and his team who diagnosed the problem and gave me proper, sound advice. Also charged me so little I was flabbergasted. I let her go (as recommended!!) and brought a new, faster, younger model. The first thing I did was take her to Ian and his team for a service. 5*. Highly recommended.

    I was very impressed by the service offered at Kingfisher Auto Repair. I had a particularly complex issue with my car, where I feared my car may even be a write-off and they were able to fix it for a good price. I will definitely consider using them again. Staff were friendly and accommodating to my needs.

    Really helpful with getting me booked in for the following day, by 4pm the following day they had diagnosed and quoted for the repair, collected at 1pm the next day so in and dealt with in less than 48hours cant fault them really happy with the service. Cheers guys

    Conscientious, skilful and efficient: you'd be hard put to beat Kingfisher. My VW van had sustained quite a few bashes, scratches etc, and was looking the worse for wear. Now it is as good as new. A really personal service, with an eye for detail and a very decent price. Highly recommended.

Kingfisher Auto Repairs is located just off Chertsey Lane in Staines (the main road to Thorpe Park) and is just a 10 minute walk from the town centre. 

We are a local, friendly, family-run garage that provides quality servicing and repairs for all cars at competitive prices.  

Owned and operated by Ian Graves, who has almost 20 years' experience of working in the automotive industry.
